Welcome to CMG Blog
Your Source for Inspiration and Information

Hey, I'm so glad you dropped by today! I'm Clyde McDade. Christy introduced me as your Customer Growth Optimizer in her last post. I thought I'd drop in and start helping you grow your business online. Remember, Christy said CMG Digital Marketing is focused on four things going forward. To help you increase your:
Awareness
Lead Generation
Sales
Retention
So, today, let's get rolling with ways to increase your awareness online. I want to start with something overlooked by many business owners. Get these right, and your business is headed in the right direction. Before someone will buy from you online you have to establish two things.
Credibility and trust.
That's why there are multiple ways people can learn if you are the business they should buy from. I will list a few, below. These include your:
Online reviews
Video testimonials
Business website
And guess what? There is a calculated way you can see how prospects and customers view your business online. In fact, the better your business looks online the higher your "score" is. What score am I talking about? In the online marketing world it's called a few things.
Here at CMG Digital Marketing we call it your, "Online Presence Score." Today, I'm going to start a series on a special report we offer for free for every business. It helps you view how your business is performing online, current weaknesses, strengths, and how to improve them all.
So, when you go to cmgdigitalmarketing.com, you will see a form to complete. Once you do, we will generate your Online Presence Score report. Above, you will see. First, let's take a look at what categories are rated and the scores you can get in the graphic below.

As you can see there are 7 main categories your online presence score is made up of. The higher your overall score the better your online presence is. This means the other categories like your "Business Details" are accurate, up-to-date, and seen by those searching online.
This report is from a real business owner who is a coach. I'm sure they're services are effective for their clients. But look how low the scores in six categories for their online presence is. Other than their Google Business Profile, this means they are not being seen online. And/or potential customers don't like what they see and are moving on to their competitors.
Please notice one more thing. These 7 categories are the "meat and potatoes" of an online business. If these categories are not 80-100%, you are missing out on opportunities to grow your business on the internet.
In my next post, I will breakdown each of these categories, and why they are important for your awareness online. See you next time!
Automate everything. Delegate easily. Grow without burnout.
